1995 - Collaborated with Lincoln Area Agency on Aging to co-sponsor Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Opened McPhee Preschool for children ages three to five years. Club Tween program named first place winner in a national contest sponsored by the BEST Foundation for a Drug-Free Tomorrow.

1996 - Purchased office space at 501 South 7th Street and co-located staff.

Initiated National Family Week poster contest for second grade students in Lincoln schools.

1997 - In October, Family Service agreed to provide services to the West Lincoln Family Resource Center at 630 West Dawes, in cooperation with the West Lincoln Family Resource Center Committee of Management and the Lincoln Lancaster Family Resource Centers, Inc.

On December 22, a partnership between Family Service and the Lincoln Medical Educational Foundation was formed and the original lease and agreement was signed to begin operation of the child care facility at the Stephen G. Carveth Family Resource Center located at 4525 F Street.

1998 - In September, the Family Service Board of Directors approved the new child care grant process, replacing the sliding scale fee system for low-income clients.

1999 - After extensive planning and development, funds were awarded from local foundations for the implementation of the agency wide Continuous Quality Improvement Plan.

2000 - In September, initial funding was received for the implementation of a counseling partnership called the C.F. STAR Project. Partners in the project included Family Service, Lutheran Family Services, Child Guidance Center, and the Lincoln Medical Education Foundation.
