Family Service seeks the highest quality staff to provide service through one of our various accredited programs designed to meet the needs of families and children.
Client Services Specialist I (WIC clerk)
A part time position for WIC. Responsibilities include: intake of WIC participants: provide prompt, courteous, efficient reception to persons applying for WIC or needing information; accurately and efficiently obtain the information required according WIC guidelines; establish and maintain a file for each participant and file appropriately; process clients accordingly.
Issuing Vouchers,
assist with monthly close-out in the WIC office,
send reminder cards/call clients informing them of appointment times/dates, and
receive calls in a prompt, clear and courteous manner.
Bilingual a plus.
PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
Full time position to supervise and coordinate one or more before and after school program school sites in partnership with Community Learning Centers. Supervise, train and direct Site Supervisors who implement daily curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities. Communicate daily with staff, families, school personnel and neighborhood partners. Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education, or related field plus 1-3 yrs experience in education, direct child care or related field required.
SITE SUPERVISOR – Youth Development
Enthusiastic, organized team player with excellent communication skills sought for Full Time position in before/after school program in an LPS site, due to program expansion. Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood, elementary education related field required; 6-12 mos. experience teaching or child care. Implement appropriate learning environment, lesson plans, fun activities and positive structure. May supervise assistants.

Teacher assistant positions for our Youth
Development Program and Early Childhood Center are
available for a creative, flexible, independent person who is committed to
excellence. This person is responsible for assisting the site Teacher with
implementing daily activities; assisting in providing a safe and healthy environment
for children; and interacting daily and positively with children, parents and
community agencies. Education/Experience Requirement: High school diploma or
GED and six months related experience. We offer competitive salaries and a
